Mark creates vibrant and detailed images, mostly via pen & ink; and often with colour. Mark's works are largely focused on the natural world, frequently using people, animals, or slices of the every day, as a connection to our environment.
He has exhibited primarily in the Canterbury region and has works in both corporate and private collections. His work is held within New Zealand, Australia and Europe.
When not with a sketchbook in hand, or thinking about his next work… Mark will be chilling out to some music, in the garden, or enjoying a good sci-fi movie. Plus, his three boys will keep him on his toes. Not to mention the studio cat, ‘Monet’.
